About This Program

SECO establishes energy conservation standards for commercial, industrial, and multi-family construction in Texas by adopting the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). The code applies to commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential buildings taller than three stories, excluding single and two-family residences of three stories or fewer.
